Conventional radiofrequency for genicular nerves in treatment of knee osteoarthritis

ABSTRACT

Knee osteoarthritis is a common cause of chronic pain in the elderly. The radiofrequency of the genicular nerves is a therapeutic alternative that can significantly reduce pain, with few complications.



RESUMEN

La artrosis de rodilla es una causa común de dolor crónico en personas de edad avanzada. La radiofrecuencia de los nervios geniculados constituye una alternativa terapéutica que puede disminuir considerablemente el dolor, con pocas complicaciones.
