Open access and licence

RESED is published under a diamond open access model (Diamond Open Access):

  • No cost to authors: no article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees apply.
  • No cost to readers: all content is freely and immediately accessible.

The journal is funded entirely by the Spanish Pain Society (SED).

Licence. Articles published in RESED are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This licence allows the material to be copied and redistributed in any medium or format, provided that authorship and the original source are properly credited. Commercial use of the work and the distribution of derivative works are not permitted.

Copyright. The exploitation rights of published works belong to the Spanish Pain Society. Authors retain their moral rights over the work and the right to disseminate it in accordance with the terms of the licence.

Self-archiving. Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories and on their personal website, citing the original publication in RESED.

Articles with commercial funding. In the exceptional event that an article with commercial funding is published, this will be stated transparently in the conflicts of interest and funding section of the article itself.
