Abstract
The use of radiofrequency techniques in the interventional treatment of chronic pain has increased notably in recent years, in parallel with population ageing. Consequently, the number of these procedures performed in patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and combined systems, has also increased.
