Abstract
Trigeminal neuralgia is a frequent reason for consultation in neurology, it is highly complex and incapacitating. Its approach, in addition to an adequate etiological focusing, requires effective symptomatic treatment. We present two patients with trigeminal neuralgia and good response to treatment with lacosamide. Lacosamide is a drug that appears to be a safe and effective alternative in the treatment of neuropathic pain.References
